Church Background:
Southtowns Christian Center is a non-denominational family church. It is located in Lake View, New York, twenty minutes south of Buffalo. We are seeking a full time Family Pastor who will be responsible for leading and overseeing our children and youth ministries through the fostering of relationships, curriculum, and programs in a manner that is consistent with biblical principles and sensitive to the leading of God’s Spirit.

Responsibilities and Requirements:
* Oversee and lead the Generation Kids Sunday School Department (Infants - 5th grade).
* Oversee and lead One16 Youth Ministry (grades 6th-12th)
* Select, implement, and oversee ministry specific curriculum / programs.
* Create healthy and safe environments with activities to enhance spiritual growth.
* Develop positive and healthy relationships within the church body and local community.
* Work closely with ministry staff and volunteers to see that our objectives are accomplished.
* Recruit, train, equip, and empower new and current volunteers within the children’s and youth ministry.
* Communicate consistently with the lead pastor, parents, and volunteers.
* Must demonstrate a high level of trustworthiness, and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
* Self-motivated having strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills.

Qualifications:
* Must be a Born-again Bible-believing Christian; who is called by God to serve in a local church ministry.
* Must Agree with the Southtowns Christian Center’s Statement of Faith (www.sccministries.org)
* Must have Ministry experience serving in children’s / youth ministry
* Bible degree or Bible Certificate in ministry is preferred.
* Other qualifications and training will be considered pending the completion of a degree or certificate.
* Exhibit a lifestyle that produces the evidence of a relationship with Jesus Christ.
* Must be a Born-again Bible-believing Christian; who is called by God to serve in a local church ministry.

* Must be teachable, submit to a background check, and provide three references

Compensation: Annual salary is dependent upon on experience and education.
