Hunger has no age limit or economic class. The SCC Food Pantry operates each Wednesday servicing the residents of Hamburg and Lake View. We operate in a partnership with FeedMore WNY. If you have questions please call 716-627-2183 and we will return your call as soon as possible.

We have been given the Great Commission to "Go Into All The World" as well as care for the local community. The Gospel is meant to be shared. Freedom, recovery, love, and community is the hope Jesus brings. We love because we have been loved. We give because it has been given to us. We pray and care for the orphan and widows, the sick and disenfranchised.
The last Sunday of every month is Missions Sunday. A time that we "check-in" and get an updated report on a ministry outreach, local and overseas.

CHILDREN
More than 90% of the world’s orphans live in developing and Third World countries. The number of orphans continues to rise due to abandonment, famine, malnutrition, violence, war, natural disaster, poverty, and disease.

The Sowers Ministry cares for thousands of girls and boys around the world—many of whom are orphans or hopelessly poor. We not only place them in a friendly, loving, and safe environment, but we have incredible staff and caretakers. Our boys and girls are fed, clothed, given medical treatment, given an education, endowed, loved, and prayed for. They know that they have a heavenly Father who loves and watches over them.
DISASTER RELIEF
The Sowers Ministry assists by sending relief teams that distribute nutritious food and clean water, temporary shelters, tents, blankets, warm clothes, and hygiene supplies. Moreover, we provide medical treatment, technical support, and financial assistance to individuals and families in distress. Our mission is to be the hands and feet of Jesus by helping those who are threatened by such disasters.
GTM and T's4Troops
Donations will provide Tshirts, sponsor a trip to visit the troops, or provide equipment needed for the wounded in their day-to-day activities. They have already met over 11,000 combat-injured troops. With your help, that number will continue to climb! The Superhero Tshirts open the door for the chaplains to offer hope and the appreciation of a nation to our wounded heroes.
Mission Plus 1 is the newest branch of GTM and lies under the Tee Shirts 4 Troops umbrella. There are 22 vets a day that chooses to take their own lives. There are 2 million troops that have been in this war since '91 and the number of deaths is staggering. It’s what drives GTM to continue to pour their lives into these valuable ‘superheroes’. Jim says, “we can’t afford to lose even one life, much less 22 per day.”

TheGivingTree serves families in in the U.S. and Uganda with the Love and Compassion of Christ!
We offer a comprehensive Financial Biblical Stewardship Training Program partnered with a Micro-Finance Program.
Our hope is to alleviate poverty through educational training and partnering with local business owners by offering paid internships that can lead to a new career. Since our inception, we are training over 9000 heads of households in 8 districts of Uganda.
