Communion Sunday

Mar 4, 2020
At Southtowns Christian Center we serve and Open Communion to all who believe.
It’s not about the wafer and juice; it’s about the body and blood of Jesus. It’s not about the ritual or the method; it’s about listening to Jesus and doing what He says. Communion is not an obligation, but a celebration. Communion celebrates the Gospel: Jesus was broken for us so that we can be free in Him.
"on the night He was betrayed, took bread, and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, “This is My body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of Me.” In the same way, after supper He took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood; do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.”…1 Corinthians 11:24-25
